USTBA and FITB Refereeing

The USTBA refereeing program is set to begin in 2017. Candidates began written evaluation process in 2016 and are being evaluated throughout the 2017 Tchoukball NJ and Boston Tchoukball Club seasons.

The United States has one certified FITB referee, Steven Abreu, who earned his certification in July 2016. Mr. Abreu was selected by the FITB to be a field referee for the Pan-American Tchoukball Championship Women's Final between Uruguay and Colombia.

The United States Tchoukball Association adheres strictly to the FITB Official Rules of competition, including by striving to conduct all matches within the values of the Tchoukball Charter. Download the Rules of Tchoukball from the Rules Page.
