Medal Ceremony for 2016 Pan-American Tchoukball Championship

3rd Pan-American Tchoukball Championship, Mexico 2016

From July 27-29, 2016, athletes from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, the United States and Uruguay convened at Deportivo Plan Sexenal in Mexico City to contest the Third Pan-American Tchoukball Championship. The competition was the first ever FITB competition featuring a team from the United States.

Among the US National Team members, the experience of representing one's own country in international sport competition while meeting athletes from throughout the Western Hemisphere will never be forgotten.

Though the United States was a new team, its traditional playing style of stout defensive effort and sharp shooting, led the US to a third place finish.

The Men's Championship was won by Brazil, who ended the competition with a perfect 7-0 record, beating Colombia in the final 53-47.
